Lezlye Donahue, 34, Metairie, Louisiana

Lezlye is an energetic, single mom and this firecracker wants to find the sexy woman that she once was. A Hurricane Katrina Survivor, Lezlye recently moved back to the New Orleans area to start rebuilding her life with her son. She recently graduated from the University of New Orleans and is working in pharmaceutical sales industry.

Bill & Jim Germanakos, 40, Long Island, New York

Bill and Jim are the first set of twins to compete on the show. These two guys have been attached at the hip since the day they were born. Bill is married with three kids and works in medical sales, where image is everything. Jim, also married with three kids, is a Long Island police officer. In his free time he volunteers with one of the local fire departments and can be caught signing Sinatra songs at the local Italian bistro. Their goal is not to become the “fat twins.”

Patty Gonzalez, 34, San Diego, California

Patty is a fun-loving, vibrant woman. She is married with three kids and her competitive nature has helped her to climb the corporate ladder at her local credit union, where she is now a senior loan officer. Patty was diagnosed with N.A.S.H., a type of cirrhosis not related to alcoholism and doctors have warned that she needs to lose weight in order to save her liver.

David Griffin, 31, Cedar Hill, Tennessee

David is a lovable cowboy and rancher with the driving force to be the best. He is married and is the father of four kids. A devoted family man, David realizes his biggest letdown in life is his weight. He would like nothing more than to be able to play with his kids and watch them grow up.

Julie Hadden, 34, Jacksonville, Florida

Julie’s southern charm becomes her and hides her devious need for gossip. An ex-pageant girl, Julie could have gone far if it was not for her weight. Her greatest accomplishment is her marriage and her son. She would like to have another baby, but needs to lose weight in order to have a healthy pregnancy.

Phil Hawk, 27, Powell, Ohio

Phil is a real estate appraiser with the dream of becoming a firefighter. Due to his weight he was turned down for a position on the fire department. Never a quitter, he is ready to shed the pounds and get into shape so he can achieve his career goals and continue to be active with his wife and daughter.

Jerry Lisenby, 62, Peoria, Illinois

Jerry is the oldest contestant ever to compete on the show, but do not let his age fool you. He is full of energy and has a zest for life. Jerry was a Golden Gloves Boxing champion, as well as a YMCA body builder. After retiring from the fire department and selling his hardware store, he and his wife of 42 years headed to Paraguay with the Peace Corps. His weight has been an obstacle, and he is ready to loose the weight.

Jez Luckett, 24, Garden, Kansas

Jez has a sunny disposition that helps him with his job. He is a Children’s Case Manager, who deals with mentally handicapped and troubled children that have diseases ranging from ADHD to depression. He dreams of opening his own daycare one day and help those who are less fortunate, as well as help them set and reach their goals. Jez’s goal is to lose weight and break the cycle of obesity in his family.

Nicole Michalik, 26, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Nicole is a sassy and spontaneous single woman who has been overweight her entire life and is ready to get her health in order. Never letting her weight hold her back from having a good time, she will do what it takes to get to the top. During the week she works as a receptionist, but on the weekends she is pursuing her dream job as a radio DJ.

Isabeau Miller, 21, Franklin, Tennessee

Isabeau is a natural born performer and has spent most of her life inspiring others through her music. She has felt that her weight has been holding her back from being the best singer and writer she can be. By losing weight she feels like the opportunities will be endless and will help her chase her dreams.

Ryan Rodriguez, 29, Jackson Heights, New York

Ryan is a Corporate Litigations Attorney who has everything going for him. He is married to the love of his life and they just welcomed their first child into the world. Growing up in a Puerto Rican home, there were no small meals and every social situation revolved around food. Ryan feels that his weight is the only thing holding him back from having a truly happy life.

Hollie Self, 28, Phoenix, Arizona

Hollie is an English teacher and full time high school cheerleading coach. Her soul passion is cheerleading and she feels like she is not setting a good example for her students. Hollie is ready to lose the weight and change her life.

Neil Tejwani, 25, Marblehead, Massachusetts

Neil is a graduate from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts and now works as a Chemical Engineer. He is intelligent, articulate and possesses a truly genuine demeanor. Being overweight his entire life, he is ready to get it under control and learn how to become healthy.

Amber Walker, 30, Houston, Texas

Amber is a southern Texan girl with a huge heart. She is a paramedic and loves her job, but being overweight is extremely hard when emergency calls. Amber is ready to shed the weight and find herself a man and have a family.

Bryan Washington, 29, Riverdale, Georgia

Bryan is passionate about making music and knows that he needs to loose weight in order to be a successful artist. He enjoys working with kids and is a high school music teacher in the Atlanta Public School system. Bryan looks forward to being athletic and fit again.

Kae Whang, 27, Clark, New Jersey

Kae is an extremely friendly and feisty former Private in the U.S. Army. Sadly, she was honorably discharged due to her weight. Recently married, her motivation is to lose weight and be able to visit her grandmother in Korea and start acting like a newlywed. Kae feels that being able to survive boot camp will give her the competitive edge to win the show.

Amy Zimmer, 28, Rochester, New York

Amy is a first grade teacher and is married with two kids. She wants to lose weight, not only to be a better wife, but also to be a better mother and role model for her children.
